Rocky Patel lighters?
I just ran across the fact that he has a line of lighters, now.
I wonder how many versions he will have? And, will they use stainless steel from a well-regarded vintage year for steel production? |

Re: Rocky Patel lighters?
Gee, I dunno.
Lemme think here....My Rocky Table Top lighter was purchased back in 2003. Wonder how many "New" makers have come out since then selling ashtrays, trucker hats, lighters, key rings, panties and box openers?? |

The RP table lighter I have is a pos, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Re: Rocky Patel lighters?
But instead of the Corona Emblem, it has the "Rocky Patel" script. That thing has been through Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Qatar. |

I have had luck with Colibri Quantum handhelds. But bought a table torch from Home Depot. Haven't tried it yet....

Haha, it's not that bad. I've had the RP table lighter for about a year now and I haven't had any problems yet. Might of got one of the lucky ones.

Re: Rocky Patel lighters?
RP lighter, Perdomo Lighter, Monte lighter, Xikar lighter? No matter all made in China. I have 2 Xikar Executive lighters, only one of them was bought at a gas station for $5, with the word Tiger on it instead of Xikar. Ronson Jet lite for me thanks.

All RP lighters are warranted for life. Take it back to the retailer you picked it up at. Swap it or wait for the replacement. They will send a new one, no refurbished. Good luck. All lighters are hit or miss. I prefer to bust a flame every time I light my cigar.

Maybe that's why they're selling so fast in the midwest? 11 1/2 months of winter and bonfires. Can't wait to see Kenny the King's perm at the IPCPR this year. An Indian with a Jerry Curl!
