Have been owned by this site for 2 years now and yes, it can "bite" your ass but when you think of what you save vs buying online or at B&M's you know why it's so popular. Yes, I scream and nearly feint when I get the bills but I have built my humidors up from 150 to well over a 1,000 cigars for probably half what it would cost me buying at other cigar places. It's like Vegas, if you can't afford to pay, don't play.

Fortunately for me, I'm too impatient. C-bid and Ebay don't work for me.

Thats exactly why when I was spending what I was spending on cigars, box prices on CBID could/can be ridiculously low.... I have scored multiple boxes of Oliva G maduros for half price, and when the Sol Cubano CC were unknown, they were practically giving them away, same for LHC's.

So, I login to cbid thinking there might be some decent deals the night before a holiday:

Victor Sinclair 10th Aniversario Robusto (5er)
1 of 1 at $7.00
I just missed a bundle of Sol Cubano CC 2nds for $17, closed between the time I clicked Submit Bid and verified my password. Seems like my winning bids are the only lots that don't close on time.
