ESPN reporting former Chiefs RB Larry Johnson is on his way to Cincinnati to sign with the 7-2, AFC North leading Cincinnati Bengals. Negotiations began early last week to add depth to the Bengals backfield. This has no relation to Benson injuring his hip on Sunday. He is expected to start this Sunday against the Raiders.
I like this move. Benson has been running HARD all season and has gotten a little beat up. If he can continue to stay healthy and Larry Johnson can spell him a couple plays here and there and give Benson a breather, it will do nothing but help us. |

UPDATE:
Marvin Lewis says the Larry Johnson signing has no affect on Benson, Scott or Leonard and that if the Bengals do sign him he'd be inactive. Said Benson's role will not change as the #1 back. |

Yup, the guess it is. The poor kid with the pile of GI Joe's that all the rich kids threw away built up an army to humiliate the rich kid. Sounds good to me.

I am enjoying this thread. Much more fun than the game (being a die-hard Steeler fan). Although, holding 85 to only 2 catches for 29 yards is .... Aw F*#K, who cares, like anything else even matters. I have to admit, I haven't really respected the Bengals in the past, but this year they certainly have earned it. And if the Steelers can't go all the way, I'll be rooting for the Bengals. Much like the Ravens gained my respect last year (I've always hated them) the Bengals are certainly looking good this year.

Got word that the Bengals brought in Mike Doss, former Colts and Ohio State Safety and Joey Galloway, former Bucks and Patriots WR for workout's this week. No word at this time on if they'll make an offer on either one.

Vegas is saying that the Bengals are only 10 point favorites. Does anyone else think that is a little low? Oakland is a horrible team. I though the line would be 14+
