The referees were absolutely horrible too. I have never seen worse officiating in my life. How does the ref not call pass interference on the 2nd last play of the game. He was staring right at A.J. Green. It was an absolute joke.

What about the "helmet to helmet" hit they called on Nelson that gave the Ravens 15 yards which led them to score. The replays showed that he did not hit the helmet at all.

![]() The Ravens had more plenalties against them than the Bengals, its just too bad the Bengals had three of theirs in the same drive. Just stupid play by the defense. ![]()

It was completely unnecessary. The umpire even said so. Ngata didn't even argue it.

Congrats to the Bengals for making the playoffs, more than I can say for the Bears. They should be even better next season.

He's won more playoff games in less seasons than Marvin Lewis, 3 to 0. Lovie is 14 games over .500, Marvin is 8 games under.

Sorry about the Bengals loss, guys. I have to say I was real impressed with their play today up till the wheels fell off. They had some game, for sure. Being a good ball club is new to them, I'm looking forward to next year. It'll be nice to see some really good Divisional ball when they line up with the Steelers and Ravens next year.
![]() I know you guys don't think much of Mike Brown, but turning Carson Palmer into two big draft picks is a big deal. Pretty genius if you ask me, even if it happened by mistake. If he uses those picks well, the Bengals are finally gonna be back. I'm looking forward to it. ![]()

I've poked around and I really can't find anything definitive and I was hoping one of the Bengal loyalists could help me out. Why did the Bengals trade Keith Rivers for a 5th round pick? Did they just grow weary from paying him to be on the trainers table all the time? There's no denying the man's talent (he was consistently thought of the best linebacker on a USC squad composed of himself/Rey Maualuga/Brian Cushing/Clay Matthews III) but you can't contribute if you're always hurt. Didn't know if it went beyond his health or not..
Now watch, he'll play 16 games for the Giants next season and be a pro-bowler (if there is such a thing). |

He was just decent at his position, nothing special. Sure he would get some tackles, but he just wasn't a game changer and didn't make huge plays.
