Beloya Micro Lot 25
This is a review I did a while back on coffee geek and thought I would post here as well.
-Beloya Micro Lot 25- If there is a coffee that smells like fresh fruit, this is it! Before the grind these beans smell so fruity and has a slight citrus element. I get light fruit, bananas mostly. After the grind of these beans, the fruity nose has been toned out a little bit with a floral and citrus aroma. After brewing in my french press, the aroma is now darker. The fruity and floral notes calm down, but are still quite present. On the palate, very creamy and still very floral and fruity. I can't seem to pick up on one particular fruit, maybe oranges and banana. The acidity is nice, not over acidic though. Full body, great creamy texture on the palate. Little bit of spice and vanilla on the finish. Overall, a great floral/fruity coffee. Definately a change of pace for me as I do not usually drink such fruity coffee. I Highly recommend this coffee if you are looking for a fruity coffee! I bought these beans from Norman at UncleBeanz dot com. |

The fruit starts with the meticulous processing at the farm and their packaging. It then moves to our storage methods, our attention to detail in roasting. Lastly it is your brewer, your tastebuds. You may see others offer this coffee. Try them all. We kinda know that those that do always come back.
