Its from 'To Have and Have Not' with Bogey and Bacall, his alcoholic shipmate says 'Was you ever bit by a dead bee?'

James Thurber is a tremendous comedic writer! I've loved his stories all my life. My dad used to read some of his short stories to us after dinner when we were children! Movie is "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" And what better actor to play Mitty than Danny Kaye!!!!
