Wow...
Some of you know that I like hot stuff. I even make my own hot sauce. But I just grabbed the bottle of Dave's Ultimate Insanity Hot Sauce instead of the Roasted Red Pepper Sauce for my hot dog. It's not to bad when you are expecting it, but...
Anyone else ever make a "spicy" mistake?

Re: Wow...
Talking with my wife while making Red Thai curry paste for a pork and long bean stir fry, spooned the paste from the mortar to a bowl.
Then I did something I never do while cooking, put the spoon in my mouth. I couldn't taste dinner that night. |

Re: Wow...
Not that it was "too" hot, just unexpected. Like I said, A buddy of mine grows Red Savina Habineros and I make a hot sauce from them. It just helps to know what you are getting. Kinda like taking a drink of coke just to find out it's pepsi.
