Default First cigar in a year

Ok, so let's suppose that an old friend of yours (cough me) might like to get back into the swing of things at some point. Let's say this friend hasn't had a cigar for a year, or any tobacco period for a couple of months.

What cigar would you recommend to said friend and why?
I'm just curious as to what you all would say. Yes, said friend has been out of the cigar loop for some while...
but that doesn't mean he's forgotten everything either.

I would say a Monte White. The only reason I say this is I smoked cigars off and on for a while...a social thing really. Just recently did it start to become a real hobby for me. The Monte White was the first stick I smoked in this phase of my smoking and I must say it hit the spot. Not to mention they are not too expensive. Nice bang for the buck and a nice smoke...just my

Hey... I am a fan of the Monte White as well. Another tasty on is the RyJ Habana Reserve. Can't go wrong with either one IMHO.

I'll look into that. Although, I was never extremely impressed by any of the Tatuajes I had. They're solid smokes, but never made me jump up and down.

To be perfectly honest, this cigar is what keeps coming to my mind.

Mmm. perhaps a padron is another stick for me to think about.
I absolutely love their 1964 el principe's (I actually prefer the naturals over the maduros however)
