I wonder how many of them have notes of 12 year aged Madagascar vanilla.

I walked through a total wines humidor and it had little placards with employee recommendations which i found funny but honestly i trust "Mark the sales manager" more than i trust CA's top 25 anymore. it makes for fun conversation though. God bless you all!

I think most of them are good smokes, just not what they claim them to be. Obviously money talks and influences the list.

Again i don't put much thought into lists especially from CA but those Casa Cuba Doble Cuatro are pretty darned tasty. I've been becoming a fan of the whole lineup lately. God bless you!

The year was 2019. The Flor de las Antillas belicoso was THE highest rated cigar all year at 95.

It was not in the top 25 that year. If you didn't believe it's a BS list, there's your sign.

And I disagree about the Casa Cuba. I think they are horrible. Can't even sell them at half price at the shop.

Will Gurkha or Rocky Patel take that coveted Number 1 spot?

at least it wasn't a Gurkha. we are living in a good age where NC cigars are not only competing against CC's but beating them in many cases. I'd rather smoke a hemingway or a my father la promesa than deal with whether a CC is even going to be smokable nowadays. Just my opinion. God bless you all!

I guess I do not hate the #1. They have been out in the market forever so I feel like it is old hat. Padron is one of my favorites so I am happy for them and 97 is a STROOOOOONG rating as I thought they really never give anything above 96. Whatever. At least it is not Aging Room/Casa Libre/Casa Magna or whatever that POS that 'won' it a bunch of years back was.

This has always been the case.

Why folks think Cuban should be/is *better* is beyond me. They are just different. A lot of them suck, a lot of them are just ok and a lot of them are outstanding.

I've smoked more NCs the past two years than I did in the previous 10. There are some really good DR, Nicaraguan and other cigars I have discovered or "re-discovered".

Can't really agree with the CCs not being smokable though. Ironic because I had to use the PerfecDraw on a Party Prez yesterday, but in general the construction of the CCs I have bought the last several years has been excellent.
