Default A specimen laboratory question

Hi,

Anyone here work in a laboratory or have personally researched this topic?

I'd appreciate professional experience or own experience answers please.

How long does it really take for cigars to completely get out of a person's system.
Wether it blood or urine sample.

Someone I know has to go through some testing and would rather they don't know he smokes cigar's.
I told him one thing for sure. Drinking a few glasses water won't do magic. Maybe that and waiting a week. But I'm not sure.

I once had to go through this once. And lucky it was before I got in to stogies.
I think he had like one every morning for a few days this week. But when they notified him at work about this test. The next day he did not have one.
So how many days would you wait until you would go get blood test?

Thanks

There is someone on this board that get's tested for work, all tobacco products, he just tells them that he used to smoke but quit months ago and he still goes and watches sports at a local cigar bar with his friends, even though he has been testing positive he's been fine.

I was a two stogie/week guy when I got tested. I quit for 2 weeks and passed the test. Depends on one's body and metabolism rates.

Did you actually see the results?

I am very weary of these kinds of tests. They never tell you the threshold and what your value was. You could've failed but they decided to keep you or something similar to that affect.

I believe the amount of body fat can alter how long tobacco stays in the body.

I don't think there's a job in the world that I could love so much that I wouldn't resent like Hell and come to hate for testing me like that.

I can understand this and what I think about it that you can stop smoking. Just do something else. Start from less stupid thing like vape https://www.cbdornot.com/thc-vape-juice/ and you will feel yourself better in a few months. Try it and share results.

I am tested like this annually for my insurance. I always stop smoking 5 days before the test and I am fine. My company has used hair follicle, breath, and blood tests now and I am always counted as a non smoker. I average 2 cigars a day.

Tested annually? Never heard of annual testing for insurance. Why would they do that?

Depending on the type of insurance, they can have different rates for smokers vs non-smokers. While I don't agree with it, I could see where a company uses an annual renewal period to redo the full enrollment experience.

It's also possible that the company is smaller with less pull, and so they bounce from one insurance company to another each year. My current employer is only 20 people, and we have changed our insurance very single year to get the best available rate.

Maybe it will not objective and don't absolutely scientific, but some chemical things help me in dealing with my brain problems and I can solve more problems now. I use it not every day. But sometimes you can find that your brain needs to work in another way and get some rest. To know more about this watch Cheech and Chong.

But the resulting brain problem that you will encounter is that you won't be able to speak right ever again. Ponkerplant used to be an English major.

Ponkerplant was an English major?

That's unpossible.
