Default Tampa/Ybor City, FL Cigars

My son is coming for a visit soon and I want to take him around to some cigar places.

Any recommendations?

I really enjoyed Tabanero Cigars, excellent staff and the coffee was delicious.
They have a small seating area but its extremely comfortable. Local smokes are good for a NC, they roll them right at the front of the store.

I also stopped at King Corona Cigars Bar And Cafe, a bit dark and dreary but they had a full bar and seating.

Tampa Sweetheart, the place of the original Fuente factory was kinda neat...Sitting outside at King Corona on 7th Ave with a cuban coffee and a cigar while watching the world pass by is not a bad way to spend a morning!

Tampa Sweethearts was neat; it was great to talk to Arturo Fuente, Jr. King Corona as mentioned above.

And if you like beer I recommend Tampa Bay Brewing Company. The beers are good, the food is great, and they incorporate their beers into almost all of their recipes.

Basically, you can walk up and down E 7th and find a bunch of places. Tabenero is good, as is Long Ash. And you should eat at the historic Columbia restaurant.

A word of warning. The shops there don’t have the best beetle control. I learned the hard way. FREEZE EVERYTHING!

We had a great time -- once we found a parking spot (they all had 2 hour limits, so I had to move the car 3 times)

We started out at Tabanero Cigars where we hung out for a bit and had a cigar and some Cuban coffee

Next we went to Tampa Sweethearts and met Arturo Fuente II and I picked up some Hemingway's

We were going to go to King Corona next, but ended up having a leisurely lunch at (the original) Columbia's

There is so much more to see and do in Ybor City that I cannot wait to go back!

Thank you all for your suggestions!

We went there once during the eclipse last summer and would love to go back and see more of the town. We are planning on going at the end of November to the Cigar Heritage Festival to meet up with Dan (elderboy02). https://www.yborcitycigarfestival.com/
