Ring gauge app
I found an app for android that measures ring gauge very accurately. It's free on the Google store from Helton Studios. I got it because I cracked open a box of alleged 48 ring cigars. They looked smaller and thought I was losing my vision. Yup, it turned out to be 41. I tested several tried and true cigars that I know are always dead on. They all tested perfectly.
Is this an essential app for most here? Nope. But it's nice to catch a cheater. Last box of that brand for me. I think this is a great app for newbs.

Re: Ring gauge app
My ring gauge app is shown in the attached pic. It's marked in 64ths of an in h or, if you like, in ring gauge. It helps to squint a little when you line the cigar up with the app.
