Well, I lived in Nashville at the height of the Charlie Daniels mania, and confess I grew sick of him. I further confess a small issue with Satan in a Yankee cap, but we've grown accustomed to the whole Damn Yankees/Evil Empire crap, so what the hell. I also confess, as one Southern-born, that part of me objects to the term "redneck" as being the only racial insult anyone can skate on, though the poet in me sees the value of any useful word, no matter if it insults or not . . . as long as the goose does not trump the gander.

That said, the bit was witty in a Weird Al way, and well done.
