Brings new meaning to use only distilled water for humidifying your cigars!?!
http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/23/us/ore...html?hpt=hp_t2 (CNN) -- About 670,000 residents in Oregon were advised Friday to boil drinking water after several tests showed E. coli in some water samples, the Portland Water Bureau said. |

Re: Portland guys!?!
ha!
We bought a Berkey water filter. We still use our tap most of the time. Now, though, if I have an issue with my primary water source, I can at least filter a rather large amount of water to keep up with the needs of cooking/cleaning. LINK REMOVED AT COMPANY'S REQUEST Good luck, Oregonians!

Re: Portland guys!?!
The funny thing about this was that it took 3 days or so after the first dirty test came in to call the boil water alert. That being said I doubt there was much of a real danger, but I heard stories about people who thought they were sick. Power of suggestion?

Re: Portland guys!?!
The three days was for the second tests to ensure it wasn't a false positive.
