Default Handpresso

Anyone have any experience with this?
Wife and I really miss our espresso when traveling.
She's bugging me to get her one.
Overall, seems to have pretty good reviews.

I do have one (at work), but I don't use it much.

I've got the one where you use ground coffee, and I can't get a decent espresso flavour - it's more like an intense drip filtered coffee then anything else.

You can get one that uses pods, and that might be better - especially for travelling.

I see the reviewers on that link say to use the intense filter for best result, and I might try that.

The main reason I don't use it much at work is the funny looks I get when pumping it up to pressure in my office!

Thanks for feedback.
I have read you need to add that device you mention to get a stronger brew.

You'll have to limit travel to hipper places that serve espresso...

They do.
Actually going to Punta Cana, DR.
Unfortunately, none of my Caribbean Hispanic brothers make an espresso as strong as Cubans.

You have to take over Barista duty!
