Default San Andres Maduro wrapper

I really like this wrapper, what do you all think and what cigars have it?
A few I know are the Illusione Rothchildes, 2012 Singulare, and Maduro. Emilio AF1 (which is f'ing Rad) and undercrowns.

I know there are some broadleaf whores out there and with out getting all artsy I like how complex the sweetness is on the Andrčs making me a bit slutty for it.

From Remo's list I've had the est. 1844, GH Azteca, La Reloba Seleccion Mexico, LP Undercrown, MUWAT Baitfish, Oliva V, and Nica Libre. The Baitfish and Nica Libre are okay, but I really enjoy the rest.

I have only tried LADC Mi Amor and Gran Habano Azteca Fuerte. Both were very enjoyable. Diesel Unlimited has some San Andres for filler with adds similar flavors that I have noticed, at least to my palate. Definitely hope to try some others such as the Series V Maduro cigars and LADC Mi Amor Reserva.

The Pardon anni and family blend 44 or 85 have this wrapper. I dont recall which. Whatever the one that tastes like Nica Libre.

This rumor just never dies... At one point in the history of Padron Cigars, they did briefly experiment with other fillers and wrappers, one happened to be Mexican, but that was well over a decade ago. Since Orlando didn't really care for the flavor, those cigars weren't made again.

I was told that by a lady who worked with the family a while back, but then she also told me there was no such thing as a Padron maduro process, so who knows. I'm inclined to believe her but I don't have much stock on NCs to really care.

That original statement should have said "anniversary family blend," not "anni and family blend." Also Padron, not pardon. Darn spell check.

When I was down in Nicaragua a few years ago at the factory, I asked Jorge about he validity of the continuing Mexican capa rumor, he just kind of rolled his eyes, sighed and explained what I posted above. They absolutely did do some limited work with other tobaccos at one point, but not anymore; this appears to be the point that seems to get lost in translation. Another thing he explained was that Padron, unlike most, if not all, other cigar factories, isn't zona franca, so for them to import anything, especially tobacco, is heavily taxed so it's not even really practical for them to make cigars with imported tobacco.
