Starbucks® Blonde Roast

I was once great friends to late cigar shop owner who also had a coffee bar in his establishment. He shared the joy of drinking coffee while smoking a good cigar.

So recently finding this forum it's great to see a group of people who enjoy the same thing. With me being new here I hope this already hasn't been mentioned but I was in Starbucks last week and saw a sign for their new Blonde Roast.

I wasn't particularly fond of the dark roast coffee and can only do the specialty drinks on occasion. All that has changed with this new blend.

Just a small amount of cream and a hint of sugar and this drink is smooooth.

Today, I plan to light one up and have a cup.

The blond is my go to at starbucks now. I drink it black and really like the flavor compared to their dark roast and even compared to the pike place roast (although I like the pike as well).

Was curious to see what people thought of this. I have the medium and dark roast K cups. Think I will give the Blonde a try.

The blonde is the only thing I drink from Starbucks in the very rare occasion I get a SB coffee. Everything else tastes like it was filtered through cigarette ashes IMO.

I have the house blend medium roast and cafe verona or w/e dark roast. They both have a similar flavor that I can't put my hand on. I'm not sure if I like it or not.
