I traveled to a climate similar to that last year and of course brought a few cigars with me. Everyone I lit to smoke ended up completely coming apart on me. Frustrating. And cold.

I'm down to grabbing a short one after work on Fridays in the shipping area of work.

Great news.....the upper midwest is getting set to be blasted by another Alberta Clipper. If I didn't love my northern brothers I would be mighty angry with them for sending their polar temps south of the border.

But then I realize how much more frigid temps they have than me

I have a deal with my wife. I can smoke in the house but she controls the remote.

I fair deal, I think. I get to smoke a nice cigar in warmth but I have to watch the lifetime channel while I do it.

With the round of snow we had a couple weeks ago, I called into work for a snow day and then went outside and built a bon fire.

I love smoking cigars next to a big warm fire, but I need to make some kind of snow shield to keep my cigar dry

Take care
Ken
