Facebook Profile - Timeline yes or no?
Facebookers weigh in. Timeline for profile page or original. Pros and cons. Give me some info, please.
Thanks, Andy

Re: Facebook Profile - Timeline yes or no?
No, the timeline is clunky, cluttered and ugly, Facebook is beginning to resemble Myspace. If you have the option not to use it, don't. My opinion, of course.

Re: Facebook Profile - Timeline yes or no?
I didn't vote in my own poll, but I will put my thoughts on it here. I agree that the timeline looks a lot like Myspace and can be a bit clunky, but it looks more appealing (visually) than the original version. I'm more worried about it being user friendly and streamlined. I'm one of those people that are hesitant to change, but I've heard about numerous people who have switched by accident and have actually liked the change.

Re: Facebook Profile - Timeline yes or no?
Facebook is always careful to make whatever they roll out user friendly. The timeline is pretty easy to use and read, it has an actual timeline in the center of the screen and your updates branch off. I hate it solely based on the fact that I think it's clunky and ugly and it reminds me of Myspace. If you like the way it looks then there is no reason not to use it IMO, I'll keep hating it though.

Keep the original if I could....
Facecrack always has to 'change' a good thing into something that isn't....

They'll have to pry it from my cold dead.........
Oh, wait. Facebook you say? So far I've hung on to the original. If I eventually have to change, no biggie. If I can watch carburetors fade into the sunset, I can deal with Timeline. |

I only log in to check on my kids, and even that is becoming more and more of a chore.

Re: Facebook Profile - Timeline yes or no?
I don't like the timeline for the reasons stated above.
I'm staying with the original until the last possible moment.
