Stupid questions possibly:

What is the trades counter for in the corner with a persons info?

Why do people keep thanking others for cigars? Is it for the recommendation or are there retailers on the site?

There is a sub-forum on this site that allows members to buy, sell, and trade cigars and non-cigar merchandise. This is what the trading counter is for. Continue to contribute to this board and you will be allowed access to this forum in due time.

In regards to those who thank people for cigars, many members send each other gift packages or "bombs". We have a thread thanking members for specific cigars we have enjoyed from them.

After a while of being active on the Asylum, you will gain access to other areas and it will all make more sense. Until that time, you can begin your experience with trading in the NST. It's a great way to meet some of the other inmates here.
