Social or Not?
Personally, I enjoy a cigar best in the company of others who are enjoying a cigar with me. Next, I really enjoy a cigar in the company of friends who may not be cigar smokers at all, but who do not mind me indulging myself.
Lastly, I will enjoy a cigar alone - although that is not preferred at all. Alone, I will more often gravitate to filling my pipe and sitting with a good book or movie. Although, with the right movie a cigar is OK - but better if the movie is shared with another smoker. How many of you find yourselves in that same boat? How do you prefer to have your cigars - alone? Or with a friend? Peace of the Lord be with you.

Re: Social or Not?
I tend to smoke with friends - mostly opther cigar or pipe guys. I don't object to smoking alone with a book...but I do prefer to have it as a social occasion.

Re: Social or Not?
I smoke almost exclusively alone. More often than not it's time that I use to relax, unwind and savor the moment.

Re: Social or Not?
I smoke alone mostly to unwind after a day or get up early to start the day. I enjoy cigars the most with no distractions and will smoke new cigars or ones I have been saving when I can pay the most attention to it. Smoking in the company of others has it's benefits but it's not about the cigars so I'll smoke my go to.

Re: Social or Not?
Most of the time I'm smoking at my B&M. It's always nice to know the random thoughts of a fellow BOTL.
I also fly solo, but not really. My trusty Basset Hound is almost always by my side laying on the porch with me.

Re: Social or Not?
I smoke alone sometimes to be by myself and relax, but most of the time I despise it. In fact, if I had a buddy who smoked as much as I would like to, I'd probably go through sticks about 10 times as fast as I do right now. Usually I smoke with people during that rare, "hey Nagel, I think it's finally time to have a stogie" special event type thing. Rare, but maybe that's a good thing

Re: Social or Not?
I've returned to smoking as a social activity, and it's reminded me that I enjoy it enough to do it solo....if that makes sense.

I prefer to smoke socially. Weather it's with friends, hanging out at the local B&M, or going to a cigar lounge. Theres just something about a good cigar tht brings people togeather.
