Re: I met a couple cigar celebrities this weekend. PICS
Shorty Rossi is one of my favorite TV personalities who openly smokes cigars on his show. We own two Am. Staff. Terriers, so its nice to see someone who adovcates for bully breeds like he does. I would love to meet him some day.

Nice pic with Matt. I was wanting to get a pic with him and Dion when he showed up, but didn't get around to it.

I don't know the names and faces of most of the cigar brands out there. But it's hard to miss a short guy and I've seen numerous pics of Matt. He has his own sense of style so yeah...he was cool. I wish I talked to him more. He has this fashion/rockstar look to him (yes I know he's a jewelry designer) and seems like he could be full of himself, but just saying hi and shaking his hand and exchanging any small talk we had, he was pretty cool. He gave me one of those cool brass knuckle cutters and offered a Cusano 18 cigar as well. So he's cool in my book.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. Yes it was a perfect day and event... about time Seattle had a big cigar event! I too thought Matt would be a little too rock-star and full of himself, but he surprised me a bit. I also had a good amount of time to chat with Dion at the post-party as it was less crowded. As I've heard, he would a good dude.
I was told Pete Johnson tried like hell to make it to the event but could not get out of the Outlaw event in KC as he already agreed to that awhile back and Pepin really wanted him there. Here's looking to next year's Seattle Cigar Expo! |
