George is in on the bet. I'm sure he won't mind me making the bet for him, and if he does, I'll cover it.
He's super busy, I highly doubt he's even had a chance to check this thread. Last year he didn't get to do much betting until the end of the year.
I hope he comes around a bit so you guys get to know him. I love the guy. He's easily one of the finest brothers we've ever been graced with.

With the EPIC Herf just around the corner, it's time for an EPIC bet.
This bet is for week 10 NOT week 9!
I am posting early so it receives maximum participation.

Here it is.
My team, head to head with yours.
My 25 troop stick sticks to your ? troop sticks (min 5)
For every troop stick I spot you, you spot me .5pts
Examples
My 25 to your 5 - You spot me 10 pts
My 25 to your 20 - you spot me 2.5 pts

I will take this bet once from each of the other 9 players.
If I am the low scorer for the week, I will add an additional 25 troop sticks.
For a total of 250 troop sticks (assuming all of the other 9 get involved)

i made this bet last year, and I believe I lost to all who participated!!

Who wants some?

I think this bet should require mandatory 100% participation. Frank has betting sticks left, so he's in. I'm sure he'll be happy to get a piece of this.

If we don't get response from any of the remaining guys for some reason, I will cover their bets with a fiver of my own in order to bring us up to 100% participation.

I will try to get this thread updated with last week's results and this week's bets as soon as I can. I'm up to my ears in the troop auction stuff and the phone has rang nonstop all day. That sucks because I set today aside to do all the troop/football/cigar stuff I needed to get done and I'm not even close to finished.
