Very tough choice....
I went with IV, because of the most favourite tracks, but truly the boxed set that was released on 7 September 1990 it the best I currently own.

I know Greg (NCRadioMan) is into music a lot harder than Zep, not softer.

Been kinda partial to Houses of the Holy ever since it was first released. Really pissed me off when my 8 track of it unwound. May have to add a copy to my CD shopping list.

Anyone remember pulling 4 and 8 tracks out and having a big ol' mess of tape hanging out of the player?

Yep! Used to always be working the playback head and rubber wheels with some alcohol on a Q-tip to keep them clean. Sometimes it just didn't work

Not a Zeppelin fan except for their first album. It became too much about Plant after that and I always thought he was the weakest link.

I had to go with PHYSICAL GRAFFITI as my favorite album, although I've listened to IV more than the rest. Almost went with IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR because "Fool in the Rain" is probably my favorite song.

Physical Graffiti. "In My Time of Dying" is as raw as it gets.

There version of it on the DVD is probably the best Zeppelin performance ever recorded. That or Achilles Last Stand.

Physical Graffiti.

Ten Years Gone has been my favorite song for a long long time. The rest of the album(s) also has more meaning to me than most other Zeppelin releases. They all hold a special place in my past, but Physical Graffiti takes the number one spot.

Tool has come close and moved up the list, as have the Foo Fighters, but no band will ever be as dear to me as Zeppelin was/is. I still keep every single CD in my car, on my laptop/PC and phone.

Had to go with Physical Graffitti. It has both Kashmir, and Houses of the Holy. On one album side, two of my all time favorite LZ songs.

Difficult for me to choose because Zeppelin is my favorite band. It'd have to be a coin flip between IV and Houses of the Holy. IV is an epic album, but Houses to me showed Zeppelin expanding their musical horizons beyond folk/blues and proved to naysayers that they weren't just a hack band that survived off of stealing other artists' work and claiming it as their own.

Best Zeppelin album?

My answer is the same thing a man with two penises says when his tailor asks him if he dresses to the left or right.

(yes)
