I could have swore that Angel was there, was it just Masuka?

As much as I want to believe the split personality thing, I just can't I mean they have pics of Gellar....so he does exist unless his spirit is in the kid (name escapes me) kinda like Chucky lol

I thought Angel was there as well, but I could be wrong. I'll have to rewatch it OnDemand.

Yes, Gellar is a real person, at least he was a real person. According to the storyline, he went missing a few years ago (or went missing before the murders started taking place. I do remember specifically that LaGuerta as soon as she arrived asked why someone was not at the crime scene, but I'm not sure if it was Angel or Quinn. Probably Angel.

Me too. Interesting angle on Angel.

Interesting insight to the series. I posted my predictions upon the issues we've discussed here so far at that site.

I suspect that LaGuerta is covering for the Assistant Chief. She already blackmailed him to get her promotion, mentioning finding his name in some Madam's Little Black Book. But maybe that's just too obvious.

Good episode. I was right on a few things, and wrong on a few others. When I saw the freezer in the basement, I immediately knew what was in it.

Finally watched the latest episode last night.

Not overly surprised when I saw that Gellar was dead. The question is how long he's been dead, and if he had any hand in the killings at all. Plus, how the hell is Dexter going to get out of this one, with Travis knowing who he is now. I think he's going to have to find a way to have the kid killed without exposing himself. And allowing his dark passenger to do it will not help the situation.

Now the dead hooker situation. That will be interesting to see how LaGuerta handles that one. Will Deb figure it out? Will they find someone else to pin it on?

And Quinn...he's a mess! Hooking up with the Waffle House woman. LMAO!!! "Oh, we took pics". Ha ha ha ha ha. I have a feeling he's going to get killed at some point, from being drunk and in the wrong place, or he'll kill someone while drunk. One way or another, I don't think it'll end well for him.

Is it Sunday night yet?

I can't remember did the rest of the gang get a lead on Travis? Were they on the way to the church? I thought I remember hearing Dex say something about not being able to get to Travis in time.....so here is what I am thinking I am thinking that the cops will come in and take care of Travis, and they will find Dex in the basement and he will play the innocent role somehow and they will find Gellar and case closed.

The hooker thing I KNEW it was the chief, I even told my wife this, not sure how it's going to play with Deb though. Chief can be pretty vindictive when he wants.

I think Quinn will end up in rehab.......he is boring me to death this season.

I believe it was before they find Travis. Because they were already on to him so it's only a matter of time kinda thing.

IMHO This season has to end with Dexter off'ing Travis. There is no other move. That's how every season ends.

I never really liked Quinn in any season, I was hoping Dexter killed him.

Only two episodes left. Looks like it's gonna be an interesting and exciting conclusion. I hope Angel survives this ordeal, not to mention Deb.

It's all a matter of opinion, but I like this season MUCH better than the last. Lumen got on my nerves.

SPOILER ALERT!!! (If you didn't see the last eposode last night)

Well, they did survive, and Dexter plays the hero again. What timing! LOL

And as for the great escape out in the ocean, how did he get the rope off his hands that quickly? I'm guessing Travis is a shitty knot tyer. Obviously he makes it back (from next week's previews), but how did Dex swim 7 miles back to shore with the issues he's had after the exposure to the gas that he was exposed to? I'm sure we'll find out. Maybe he was picked up by someone out in the ocean. And what about his boat? I wonder what will become of that.

The suggestions by the therapist...LMAO! Has Deb even dreaming about it! While they're not blood relatives, the thought of a situation like that of someone you've always thought of as and treated like a brother...EW! Leave that one to the daytime soap operas! I wonder how hard that scene was for the two of them, as they're in the middle of getting divorced. LOL

I thought tonight's episode was good, yet a bit of a disappointment. One more for the season. Who will catch Travis? Will Dexter get him, or the cops, or will he off himself (before or after killing or not killing Harrison)?

I've always felt, since season two anyway, that Deb will be the one to take down Dexter.
Either catching him, or killing him.
I think all the emotions and love for him turning up are being used to set up that very ending to the series.
It is just laying the groundwork for what is sure to be a very torn Deb.
I actually hope that is what they are doing.
I love this show, but wonder how many times Dexter can escape by the skin of his teeth?

That would make a great ending to the show, and actually gice us closure unlike some shows (Flipping you off Sopranos)

The whole Dexter saving the homicide unit was a bit over the top for me as well. As was the whole lake of fire ending.

I've always thought the same thing too, Dom, but lately I don't see Dexter being caught, just b/c of the whole ordeal with his kid. I can't see the whole series ending on such a downer anymore.
At this point, I say it either ends with Dexter getting rid of his Dark Passenger, or it ends like the Sopranos did. Only if his kid doesn't die in the next episode, which by any indication of the preview, could be a very f****d up ending.

Deb would get the kid and make her life complete minus a husband

I keep wondering how Miami would still have any residents with a serial killer emerging once a year?
