Yesterday I had a Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout. It started off decent but as I got further into the bottle it started getting better and better.

Went out to Pearl Street Bar and Brewery last night and got some of their Sabres Edge double IPA. God i wish they would start bottling their house brews. They make some fantastic stuff. if your ever in down town Buffalo i recommend stopping in.

Atwater Nut Brown Ale. I picked up a sample 12 pack with that, an IPA a pale ale and a scotch ale. I've only had the nut brown so far, but I really enjoyed it.

Surly abrasive ale. Actually, had it at the surly booth at a brewfest in Duluth last night. Some decent brews, but surly was my favorite. Posted via Mobile Device |

Damn. I've been in Two Harbors all weekend and didn't realize there was a brew fest happening down the road. Missed out!

It was fun, but could've been better. Two Duluth micros were there too. Carmody's (they are located about a block west of fitgers) and Thirsty Pagan. Carmody's had an awesome ipa, and thirsty pagan had an incredible espresso stout.

Shock Top is a Belgian witbier, like Blue Moon. Others you might like are Bell's Winter White or Allagash White.
