If Reyes and Beltran look so good, why does upper management want to trade them? Is saving a few bucks really more important than wins when these two (and Wright) are healthy?

Angel Pagan saves the day...hits a walk-off HR in the bottom of the 10th as we beat the Cards 6-5. Puts us a game over .500.

Mets "hold on" to beat the Marlins 7-6 last night. Wright looked good for his first game back.

Mets drop one to the Marlins late again...winning 2-0 and can't hold on. And the bullpen had been looking alright. Reyes was 3-5, with 3 runs scored.

Bullpen reared it's ugly head again today and blew the lead as we lost 5-4 to the Marlins. Parnell gets a blown save and the loss.

He is the Giants #2 prospect, 33rd best in baseball...but I still think the Mets got "hosed" on this deal. All we got was one unproven young pitcher? WTF was Sandy Alderson drinking?

As the 33rd best prospect in baseball, he is ranked higher than any prospect in the entire Met organization.

Not sure what you wanted for a 34yr old, often injured, 2 month rental player!

Nothing wrong with acquiring young arms, especially when Mike Pelfrey is your #1 starter!
