Rainy Morning Breakfast Sandwich
Well,
I woke up today and said to myself; "It's 48 degrees out and rainy, I need soemthing to cheer myself up before the Browns game/slaughtering". I took alot of inspiration from a previous thread i made (and added meat) http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=26547 So, I went to the local market and picked up some Eggs, a fresh loaf of italian bread (Still hot), some colby jack cheese, and some hard salami. I cooked the egg in a cookie cutter (much like McDonalds does) and browned the salami on the same skillet. Once the egg was cooked I added a piece of colby jack cheese and let it melt while still on the skillet. Let the salami get crispy (but not burnt). When you do this, it gets crispy/chewy like bacon but has a spicier kick. I used about 6 pieces of salami. Here is the finished product. and minutes later: It was very good!

Re: Rainy Morning Breakfast Sandwich
thanks guys, its the heel of the bread (always makes it look gourmet, hehe)
I think it cost about a dollar to make (5 bucks to buy all the stuff, and you can make at about 5 of them this way.)

That looks yummy right there!! I'm gonna have to give that a try. Maybe add some tobasco to the finished egg under the cheese for a little more bite.
