The Lighter Thread
Hey,
I was just browsing ebay and saw some really cool looking torch lighter and fugired i'd come here to ask if anyone knew and e-site where i could purchase one because this one was the only one i found on ebay. So i searched here for a thread with similar likings and found nothing. I figured people could use this thread as a utility to discuss lighters, post pics, help identify, and find out "where to get" certain pieces that they were looking for.

Re: The Lighter Thread
http://www.cigarmony.com/ has a nice selection of lighters. I think they posted a 5-10% discount code on this or another cigar forum too.
I'd be hesitant on buying a lighter on Ebay unless it's a no-name an priced right, or from a bonafied retailer if going high end. The Dunhill Trench Torch lighter has been the nicest torch lighter I have tried, but you pay for it.

it doenst seem like that rocket ship would be very comfy in the pocket. I own a few cheapies and one of the Evertorches that they are having a GB on right now.
For pure functionality, looks aside I would have to recommend a Blazer... I dont own one, but have used several. They are great, always light, and have a huge fluid tank

Yeah, i have a ronson and a colibri... the ronson was 1/15th the cost of the colibri and works magnificently.
I guess i'm just really into novelty lighters. i want to see whats out there.

Re: The Lighter Thread
Ditto that as there is a ton on Ebay,,,even Ronson specialty lighters with different emblems on them. I actually picked up two more Ronsons at WallyWorld today because they had them,,,about 8 of them but only took the 2,,,I have about 10 of them now and I am still using the very first one I got and it works first time every time.

My Extend is also a solid lighter. It has served me well for the past three years. I've never had much luck with Colibris though. I have two that have gone caput. |

Prefer my Blazer PB207 for cigars.
Prefer my Dupont Linge II's for everything else

Re: The Lighter Thread
I picked up a cheap benzomatic torch that I like to use when I'm home
Flexable torch Other than that I've got a Ronson and I've enjoyed the triple flame torch I got from Taboo triple torch The Ronson was a gift, and the others were less than $5. There are too many cigars I want to be spending a bunch on a lighter. |
