Destruction and redo!
I did not think of pictures yesterday but here it goes Mack's paver patio project
Stairs that will be removed today The summer time smoking deck in the right hand side you can see the tin roof that will cover it. The toys used in project! The walk ways leading to the house and garage! All in all there is 500 sq ft of patio to be laid. Pavers will be delivered this afternoon. It is funny the only help I have had offered is my 17yr old daughter everyone else sez I am an a$$ hole to work with!

Looking good and good luck to ya'. We did a paver patio a few years ago at another house we lived in and, man, what a PITA that was!! From now on it's concrete or nothing for us.

Re: Destruction and redo!
I'm always doing projects like this. Gotta keep busy, y'know.
What goes in place of the steps? Porch? Deck? Looks perfect for a small screen porch.

I thought winter was over here but I am attending with frozen ground still. More pictures tomorrow. We got the old porch removed and dug down. Found out the previous owner used post create for the porch all of it was full of it not an ounce of dirt or sand under the cinder blocks! when I seen that sludge hammer'd out chunks of it the skid steer I have could not lift it at all. Hope upon hope Sunday evening will find me kicked back with a cold one and a stogie! On my new patio!

Note the white pipe in the picture I had protected all day yesterday (thinking it was power to the house) then I figured out the previous had a buzzer set up to the garage well it no longer exists!

And for the little lion ya he helped make sure the sand was up to his standards by digging in it while I was on break! He found easy to dig in and soft to lay in !!!

Re: Destruction and redo!
Lot of work done there.
Heck, I hate to pick on you but you could get a diamond blade for your saw and straighten up that one edge. You can just run a water hose in front of the saw as you cut. Take a little off the second to last course so you don't have to re-lay that whole side. I can just hear this old lady I work for saying for me to tear it all up and put it back down straight. Hindsight being what it is, you should have started from the corner of the house. On second look, it's only three blocks that are short there. That's not that bad.
