Fear and Loathing or Anticipation?
From an NBC News Story:
It's (not) alive! Franken-meat lurches from the lab to the frying pan A hamburger that looks like one you'd get at any fast-food restaurant comes with a price tag of $330,000 — and it isn't even made out of natural meat. When volunteers taste it on Monday, in front of rows of VIPs and TV cameras, they'll be eating the first publicly available burger that comes from a laboratory instead of a dead animal. Here is the full story: http://www.nbcnews.com/science/its-n...pan-6C10835458 This is not something I am interested in -- I am firmly in the "Fear and Loathing" camp...

Better living through chemistry. They gave us Agent Orange and asbestosis, what could go wrong?

Re: Fear and Loathing or Anticipation?
What worries me is when there is hardly any water around.
I can live off lab meat, I needs my water. The oil companies are trying their best to accelerate that day, too. Hell, I wouldn't care if they pumped MILK down those fracking holes. But water? Gots to have water. |
