Default Martinez New York?

I see these offered by JR from time to time but I haven't been able to find any reviews of them. Anyone have any experience or opinions?

Thanks in advance.

I believe they are hand rolled by the roller in J&R Midtown location. As far taste/profile, I do not have a clue.

Theyre good cigars. They have a little shop on 30th and 7th ave...The rollers work out of there.

They have (or had) a website that's pretty crazy. (I haven't gone to it in years, I don't know if it's still up.) They had a photo gallery that you had to sign up to view. I signed up and logged in.
It was a bunch of photos of leather glad "fellows" smoking the giant cigars and just plain having a dandy time.
It scared this country bumpkin for sure.

I tried them last month during JR's weekly special. They are excellent. One of the best tasting cigars I have every smoked.

Their website is still up, if you bing it, but I didn't bounce around to see how "sick" it is. As for the smokes, I grabbed a few boxes of the Bandidos for short smokes, back when JR had them "buy-one, get-one-free", and they were smokable, albeit unremarkable. But at under a buck a pop, I had no complaints.

I also bought the 2 for 1 deal at JR. I bought the coronas and have been very satisfied. It is a nice mellow smoke, and it has impressed everyone I've shared it with. Worth a try, IMHO.

Thumbs up Re: Martinez New York?

You should definitely try these. I have smoked several boxes of the ALMIRANTE's. A good, crisp clean taste that seemed medium strength to me. JR seems to be the only retailer that sells them at a decent price.
