...for a torch, yes. For a regular flame I like my Dupont Ligne II though

Re: S.T. Dupont X-tend
Bought one for Annie but she doesn't use it .. prefers the PS-207. How are the small mini versions compared to the regular. Yes, I realize they are smaller ... d'oh .... I'm wondering if I should buy the smaller one then trade with her ;-). Who makes these? I heard repairs are send to Colibri ... which makes me nervous as Colibris that I have used almost always suck.

Re: S.T. Dupont X-tend
After owning a Dupont X tend for a couple years with ZERO problems, I agree, it's the best lighter I've used, They can still be found around 100 bucks but there getting harder to find. This is one of those items that you pay a little more for up front but once it's purchased you can forget about lighters you're taken care of... nothing more frustraiting than a bad lighter.

Re: S.T. Dupont X-tend
I love the X-tends but for everyday use and for travelling in and out of airports, Blazer CG-001 is the best for me. I've brought it to 14 countries(in my pocket) and not once have I had any problrms with it. Plus, you can fill it up with a lot of butane.

Re: S.T. Dupont X-tend
I love my X-tend! I've had it for three years and it has served me well. I recently picked up a Blazer PB-207, so I'm going to give that a try and see how it works.
