Still not buying Star Wars until they release the original version, and I know it will probably not happen, but I refuse to give Lucas my $ until he pleases the true fans.

The original, unaltered, theatrical versions ARE on DVD.
They come on the most recent 2 DVD versions and are packaged with the altered versions. No extra special effects, Han shoots first, the whole nine yards!

I am really looking forward to this. It looks lke some of the changes are really good subtle ones like making sure puppet operators don't have their arms in the shot and restoring the lightsabers to their original brilliance. Definitely getting this one.
