Any sword/knife collectors out there?
I was just wondering. I'm a huge knife/sword collector. The little knife is a 1932. Original paper boy. I got it from my grand father and a couple others when I was growing up. Ill post more knives if anyone is intrested.
O yeah the last one isn't a knife, its a compus and protractor from W. Germany I thought it was pretty cool. Knip.

Mostly knives. I do have a set of swords I gave my father from Rota. I'll try to take some pics of the collection soon as I get a chance. Got a house full of folks for the Holidays currently

Nice collection wolfgang. Ill take some pics of the knives I have, I tried to do the photobucket thing and it said file to big so I'm going to try and take a couple at a time and see if it works. I have mostly old ones. Some from my grand father and what not. Then I have my work ones.

Re: Any sword/knife collectors out there?
I love swords, knifes and anything that could do some serious damage if used properly. I started as a kid so most of my stuff is low budget budK crap but it'll still take the head off a chicken or slice a watermelon in half if the occasion calls for it!

Re: Any sword/knife collectors out there?
I have several folding knives from SOG, Kershaw, Benchmade, Spyderco, etc.
I also have some fixed blades from Smith and Wesson, Ka-Bar, etc. I have a hand forged folded steel Katana as well from Japan. Not a replica, the real deal. |

Re: Any sword/knife collectors out there?
The katana on the right side of my tv is the original one I broght back with me from japan. Its real forged steel. And the one on the left side is one I bought in japan for my wife. Its a ceremonial katana. Next time I go back to japan I'm going to grab a couple more.

Re: Any sword/knife collectors out there?
Ok sorry for the delay. I'll be soo ready when the holidays are over
First off is the BudK you asked about amigo. I have it on my shoulder rig set to hang between my shoulder blades. [url=http://img28.imageshack.us/i/knife4.jpg/] This is a close up of the primary in that sheath [url=http://img841.imageshack.us/i/knife3.jpg/] My Gil Hibbon Bowie Knife [url=http://img818.imageshack.us/i/knife2.jpg/] On the bottom is a Smith & Wesson HRT. I've carried that knife damn near everywhere. One of the best and most reliable knives I've owned frankly. The top is some knock off fantasy/survival knife I was given. Neat to look at but I wouldn't take it anywhere. [url=http://img98.imageshack.us/i/knife1p.jpg/] |

Re: Any sword/knife collectors out there?
Doh! Thought you meant the brand
The knife brand is decent however! Back in February they bought the Kissing Crane company, this was one of the first models they released under BudK not the KC name. They still do a KC line (which is a phenomenal line IMHO, YMMV) but this one shows a lot of the lineage. |
