Default Vacation time any suggestions to find cigars?

Hi All,

Its the time of the year when I leave the cold for a nice cruise in the Sunshine:
Heres my itinary
Sun 11-Apr 04:00pm SHIP DEPARTS MIAMI, FLORIDA, US
Mon 12-Apr AT SEA
Tue 13-Apr 08:00am Tue 13-Apr 06:00 pm COZUMEL, MEXICO
Wed 14-Apr 08:00am Wed 14-Apr 05:00 pm BELIZE CITY, BELIZE
Thu 15-Apr 08:00am Thu 15-Apr 05:00 pm ROATAN, BAY ISLANDS, HONDURAS
Fri 16-17 Apr AT SEA
Sun 18-Apr 08:00am Sun 18-Apr 05:00 pm ORANJESTAD, ARUBA
Mon 19-Apr 08:00am Mon 19-Apr 05:00 pm WILLEMSTAD, NETHERLAND ANTILLES
Tue 20-Apr AT SEA
Wed 21-Apr 07:00am Wed 21-Apr 01:00 pm TORTOLA, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
Thu 22-23 Apr AT SEA
Sat 24-Apr 10:00am SHIP ARRIVES AT NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, US

For Miami I will be there a day earlier and probably visit little havana and do a quick drop at Padron. For cozumel I saw the thread so I have a bit of information.

If any of you went in these different places and saw something I should target for, let me know. Also, I really like visiting cigar shops so even if the issue was ''Its too expensive'' I still would like to go and see.

Thanks all, for your help
Eric

There is a ton of good cigar visits in Miami but other than that I can't help much. But I must say that is one hell of a trip - really sounds great. I posted a lot of Miami stops a while back which are listed below (cuban food and cigars). Plenty of great shops there besides Padron.

I am in Miami, Cozumel, Tortola and Aruba quite a bit for work -

Miami - Calle Ocho (lots of places to hit)
Cozumel - LCDH inside of Touch of Gold
Tortola - nada, there is a spot but very pricey and poor conditions IMHO
Aruba - there is a LCDH but I forget where

Enjoy yourself and safe travels!

Will agree on Tortola. It is a beautiful island, but not well developed. If you have to hit a cigar shop, Little Switzerland has a small walk-in. I was able to pick up a nice coffee table book there called The History of the Havana Cigar.

It is a great place to go walk around and have some Cuban lunch, etc.... while checking out all the cigar factories. But be out of there by late afternoon - no place to be at night. Hope you have a great cruise - smooth sailing!

The Mayan ruins of Altun Ha are about an hour outside of Belize City. If you get a chance, they're pretty interesting. I took this when we were there a few weeks ago.

As soon as you get off the boat in Aruba, the Rennaisance Mall is across the port and LCDH is there. Stop into Gauchos across from there for a steak.

The piano bar has a fully stocked humidor and the cigars aren't outrageously priced.

I forget the name of the other place, but it was a LCDH and changed names. It's in the other mall next to the one with the LCDH and has a much larger selection and staff that speaks English.

The girl working there was great and I met her on the dive boat.

The one place to avoid is the record store in the same mall. Horrible fakes.

Edit:

LCDH is in the Royal Plaza Mall and the Rennaisance Mall is next door and Cigar Emporium is in there. I liked both, but Cigar Emporium better.

I had an interesting experience at the LCDH; there overhead humidification dripped a little condensation on some of the cigars and they were clearing them out ofr 3-4 bucks a stick and they only had slight wrapper damage.

I bought a fistfull of Cohibas and enjoyed the heck out of them.

Lots of other places, but those are the two I felt comfortable with.

I have not seen a report, did you make it back and how was everything? Did you get to enjoy Miami or were you a little to squeezed on time?
