Prelight
Another review I read reminded me that I had a few of these tucked away in the old cigar humidor. This one was at least 3 years old. It had a couple of soft spots and veins but nothing too bad. Light tobacco aroma. Easy prelight draw.

First third
Initial draws had a dry feel to the smoke with a very light tobacco flavor. Slightly bitter on the palate. Also had a woody cedar flavor. Very easy draw. Peppery, almost burning nose exhale. The bitterness dissipates failry quickly and leaves a smooth tobacco flavor on the palate with a slight nuttiness. This third finishes with a straight forward tobacco flavor.

Second third
Nice straight burn with an ample draw. Still light in body at this point with a straight forward tobacco flavor and a mild coffee aftertaste.

Last third
Really picking up in body. The flavor takes on a caramel aspect in both the smoke and the aftertaste. It quickly went from light in body to medium or even medium full. Finishes with pronounced chocolate notes.

Conclusion
This was an ok smoke. Nothing to write home about but overall decent enough. It took quite some time for any real flavors to develop.

One of my favorites for over 15 years! Nice review. I too agree, to me a lot of these NC brands that were very good back in the day, just don't seem to "have it". I tend to let my Bullies rest for at least 4 months. Am I getting old. "Cigars today don't taste like they did when I was in my 20s?"

Accurate review. Decent smoke, but nothing to right home about.

I've liked these and would smoke one again. I may have a couple still in the humi. They're not superb, but good. Uh, what you said. Nice review.

Decent price on these for a decent smoke. I get these regularly to mix in with others that I purchase for my golf league prizes.

Thanks for the review!

Smoking one of these that I picked up at the B&M a couple of months ago. I think the OP was dead on describing the flavors.
Anyone know why Jay Leno is on the band?

Check out the medallions on the side of the band, looks like a guy with a huge chin.

I figured the joke was the fact that Leno is a bully, and screwed over Conan! Works both ways!!

I like the Bully a lot and think its a good smk for the money...
