They're another Family Reserve stick the Padrons created. Originally, these were only given out at Padron special events, and was blended specifically by the Padron family for their own enjoyment.

Yes I think this is correct. The only difference between the 44th and 45th is that the 45th a Toro and the 44th is a Torpedo. Both come in nattie and maddie, though it's harder to find the nattie for whatever reason (which is too bad, since although I like the Padron maduros too, I prefer the naturals usually).

I kinda thought they were both technically '26, but I could be wrong. The ORIGINAL 44ths (the old ones that the Padrons gave away at events and such) were the blend they based the 45th on, though it's tweaked slightly and obviously a totally different shape with it's severe boxpress. But I'm not sure if the currently sold 44ths are the same blend as the original 44ths, or simply a torp version of the 45th ...
