Only when I need to grab a smoke, putting new ones in or to refill humidification. I have a few glasstops to that feeds my need to look.

I have a glass top on mine, I just peer longingly through, I do have to Windex the drool off daily though. :-)

2 of my Aristocrats have glass doors and are placed directly in front of the 2 chairs in my small cigar room. Opened as needed but fondly gazed upon each evening.

I use an "everyday smoke" desktop that I load up about 1 time a week out of the vino and try to limit the vino to 1 or 2 openings a week. Can look thru the glass and dream of all the good stuff in there and instead of opening and looking around I just order some more off one of the daily sale sights then I have a reason to open it when they come. Yes it is a disease and most of us have it but the symptoms do vary.

I've recently re-seasoned my humidor, and tried to get all the "peeks" out of my system before I did so. It didn't work! I still wind up peaking at least once a day, and sadly, I know I have no sticks in it yet!!

I usually open mine once in the morning to take a a couple of sticks for the day and then once in the evening to take out what I will smoke in the evening. That doesn't count opening for adding stuff or opening to take out stuff for sending to others!!

The inside of a well stocked humidor is one of the best scents on earth . Somebody ought to make an air freshener with that scent . And yes Jersey , it only gets worse if you think of it that way . I think it's just getting better .

I would agree I open my humidor at least 3 times a day.

Sometimes it is to get something out and others it is just to enjoy the beautiful smell...

Yeah I have a 2-3 peek a day habit. But then I have a clinical looking coolidor. I may do something drastic with a heat knife, some lucite and gorilla glue before too much longer.

I open mine often as I am always adding/subtracting cigars, but having beads in my Vino allows for more stabilization when its opened a lot

I open both of mine 2-3 times per day looking for sticks that I want. I have Shilala's beads in both and never have a problem with RH changing, so i don't worry about it.
