Default Old cigar question

My boss just told me he has an old box of cigars that are probably dried out. He has kept them in the original box and not a humidor.
My question is: Is there a way to rejuvinate the cigars or are they done for?
I'm not sure how good they were to start off with, but I'd hate to see a cigar lose it's life if there is a way to save it.
Thanks
Todd

Thanks. I will try to rehumidify them. They are free, so I'm not losing anything!
