Vegas
A few friends of mine from the academy and I are making the 12 hour drive to Vegas on the 15th after work. We will be getting in probably around 6am on Saturday and leaving late on Sunday.
I know about the cigar shops and what not so I am not going to ask about those. I want to maximize my time there as I have never been before. If you had a little over one day to spend in Vegas what would you do? What are the hot night clubs, best places to gamble, must see things? Input greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Vegas
Is Casa Fuente worth the price tag for a cigar?

Re: Vegas
not IMO, however, the waitresses are hot. Pure Nightclub at Caesars is fantastic.

Re: Vegas
I would buy one cigar there, and sit down with their lovely waitstaff and have a couple mojitos. The cigars are WAY overpriced, but I bought one last time I was there just so I could sit and drink in the experience. Casa Fuentes weren't too bad on the wallet.
Check with people who have been there more recently that I have though to make sure you can still smoke in there. If you can't, I wouldn't buy anything there.

I was there last week and you can still proudly smoke and drink at Casa Fuente. Honestly, as long as you buy a drink, I have never had a problem smoking my own cigars there. I usually still try to buy at least one though, but I do not think they care (too much) as long as you buy some liquor. Last time they just did not have anything I wanted to buy. The time before I grabbed a couple of Don Carlos lanceros. Over New Years I ended up running into Carl (rennD) there and between the four of us I think we ordered 8 to 10 drinks. So I did not feel too bad that no one bought a cigar. I recommend both the caipirinhas and the mojitos. |

Re: Vegas
Go for a Don Carlos lancero! If not that, then a Casa Fuente stick. They are not too badly priced, given that you are not supposed to be able to buy them anywhere else (and if you find them somewhere else, they'll be more expensive). And then just ogle the waitstaff, while checking out the Playboy store next door, and Victoria's Secret across the hall.
I know nothing of the Spearmint Rhino. |

To make sure that you DO go to Casa, here's what the hostesses wear (just ignore the ugly dude on the right):

I haven't been there since your visit but I've heard the waitresses outfits are no longer white but black.
