Default Building a Humidor, need opinions

Greetings all. I am new to the forum but not new to the cigar world. I am going to have my brother-in-law, who is a custom cabinet maker, build me a cabinet humidor. I have been studying humidors for quite some time. My questions are as follows:

As far as the spanish cedar lining, should I use spanish cedar plywood, veneer, or actual lumber. How thick should it be? He will build the actual cabinet out of 3/4" wood, which I have not decided yet on the type.

Second, what are everyones opinions as far as the best electric humidification systems. I am leaning towards Bob Staebells even though it is not the cheapest.

Thanks in Advance!

For the Spanish Cedar, I would go with something thicker than veneer, but actual lumber probably isn't necessary.

I have Bob Staebell's system, and it keeps me worry free.
