Default Jose Marti Cuba Libre

Are these any good? I see them for cheap at JR's, so I'm assuming the worst, but those Petit Lanceros look really tasty!

I got 2 boxes of these last year during xmas for 50 bucks. I've smoked one and it was decent. Yard gar. I still have a box. A lot of my non-cigar smoking friends always seem to take them from my humi to smoke. They are mild-medium so they like 'em. I have too many other cigars I'd rather smoke to pick one up.

I smoked a cuba libre at a golf outing like 6 years ago. It was the first non-gas station cigar I had ever smoked, and it wasn't bad (at the time) I have a box, thats been sitting in my cooler for like 4 years, I usually hand them out, but haven't smoked one in years. If the weather holds out, I'll light one up tomorrow and let you know what I think.

Jose Marti is a a fairly inexpensive cigar, tis true. However, I remember getting them in the late 1990s and they were a decent smoke. I remember them as medium-mild bodied Nicaraguan smokes. I know that JR sells a ton of them. Don't expect a Padron, Pepin, or Oliva - but a decent mild smoke.

This was one of the first cigars I ever bought. I got one at a cigarette smoke shop that had a small humi. I payed liked $13 for a Toro sized glass tubo. I actually really enjoyed it at the time. After getting more serious into Cigars I picked up a 10 pack from JR and they were about $2 a piece I thought they were okay. They are definitely on the mild side but not bad. I might actually pick a few up and see what I think since I have not had one in about 3 years.

I would spend my money on something else. I'm not a big fan of these. Mild bodied and not much flavor. Just my opinion though.
