Sorry this is going to be short and not much info BUT.....

I just don't get this cigar. I am smoking it right now and just not impressed at all.

The only DPG cigar to ever let me down.

Its more of a lighter stick.
They are hit and miss. Sometimes I like them sometimes not. I think it depends on my mood.

Really you have to get past the DPG name and really enjoy the stick on its own.

Interesting....

That might have been what went wrong Mike. Totally threw me off.

I thought it might be like the 601 black where it seems like it would be a mild stick but has that nice spice to it that kicks ya.

I went threw the same thing when I first tried one,not i cant stop but enjoy then for what they are.a intro to Pepin IMHO.

I definitely enjoy this cigar. You are right though in that it is not exactly what you would expect based on most DPG cigars.

I could swear that the blend of this line has changed. I remember smoking them a few years back before Pepin became the cigar messiah and loving them. Got some recently, and I now agree with the OP.
