Feeling at Home

Graduated!
As of this morning at 9:00 I officially have my Bachelor of Music degree! Today will mostly be spent with friends and family, but I'll definitely pull something nice out of one of the humis in the near future
Next step: job. I thought I had a job on lockdown last week, but it didn't end up that way. 230 people applied for one position - they interviewed 37 in the first round, 9 in the second round and 2 in the third round. I was one of the 2 finalists for the position, but they went with the other person instead. While it's disappointing, it gave me some great interview experience and a good feeling about my hirability (even though that position didn't end up being the right fit). I have a few more leads that I'm actively working on, but I've learned that nothing's sure until it's in writing. Today is just time to celebrate and enjoy the accomplishment! |

What a great attitude you have, Mike. You will do well, I'm sure of it. I love music, at age 44, and wish that I had paid more attention to it in my formative years. Best wishes to you
