Default cheap torpedo suggestions

I enjoy torpedoes, mostly cause they just look so damn cool, but they are quite expensive. I've seen a good deal on see eye for Gurkha's, but I'm a little leary of that brand (I've only liked one kind out of five or six). La Aurora makes these great torps in metal tubes but they're like $15 a pop. Soooo....anyone know where I can get some torps for under maybe $4 each? Thanking you in advance.

Famous Nic 3000 Torps run about $2.50. Padilla Obsidians can be found for about $35/bundle on Cigarbid.com, but they need about 6 months rest to start getting really good. Tons of good torps out there. Oliva has some nice ones, especially the V.

Get on the devil site and get some Padilla Obsidians, 5 Vegas Serie As or 5 Vegas Classis. They're all good cheaper smokes imo.

Thaks for the suggestions! You guys are awesome! But I was thinking more along the lines of this size

Which is actually a "perfecto" if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, those are perfectos. None really come to mind for under $4 to me. I bet there are some knock offs for that price though...

Ah! The Oliva O has a perfecto size around $3. So far I've tried most of the mentioned brands except the Famous. I love learning about new brands. This site is like school, only no swirlies!

Here is a cheap "perfecto"... never heard of it before, much less smoke it... something for you to consider.

Gurkha does has a lot of perfectos and can be found cheap on the devil site (I think Gurkhas are decent, but nothing special). The Oliva Series O is good, but around $5.00/stick. You won't find a lot of cheap, good perfectos around.

Two other good perfectos are the Rocky Patel Vintage Seconds Petite Perfecto from Cigars International and the Te Amo Aniversario Perfecto in Maduro from Best Cigar Prices. Another good one is the Oliva Special G in Maduro; this is another Petite Perfecto and runs about $115 for a box of 48. After taking a quick look through one of my humidors, there is another good one, La Flor Dominicana El Jocko Maduro Perfecto. This is another small perfecto.

Try out the Torano Exodus 1959 (gold band) perfecto. It's box pressed, so it looks a little different, but it's a great smoke at a good price.
