Old Faithful....
I know everyone has one....or at least I assume they do. It's that one cigar that you can count on every single time you light one up. I was just curious what everyone falls back on when they [i][u]need[u][i] a great smoke.
For me, I can always rely on the CAO MX2. I know CAO isn't generally considered a top teir maker, but this cigar has never let me down. I've smoked around 70 of these cigars over the past three years I'd guess. They have all been great. So anyway, just curious what you guys all fell back on.

Re: Old Faithful....
For all the Punch smokers already here, is there one particular one that you go to again and again? I haven't tried many Punch, so I'd like to find one good one.

Re: Old Faithful....
A Gran Habano #5 blend or an old Felipe Gregorio original blue label robusto. The world just seems right when I smoke one of these two.

Tatuaje Unicos. Never had a bad one for construction, and they taste great. That said, I gave one to a friend at a football tailgate, and his exploded. I was shocked. The wrappe just opened right up.
I blame him. |

Re: Old Faithful....
Just the standard ol Punch Rothschild or Rare Corojo Rothschild. They aren't mind blowing but they satisfy every time.

Re: Old Faithful....
I'll run off the assumption that we're talking CC punchs here. I'm going to have to look into them I suppose. I have my promotion gift to myself coming up and I'm looking for a CC pick up to celebrate.

Re: Old Faithful....
I would be mistaken. The Rare Corojo is in fact not a CC.

Re: Old Faithful....
Now we've added a twist that I can dig. I always love a double maddie (thus the MX2). This punch may have to be given a whirl.
