Default Looking for Humidor Suggestions

Hey guys,

I'd like to add another 100ct humidor to my rotation, and I'm looking for some suggestions based on what you all have had good luck with.

I'm looking for:

- Glass top
- Externally readable hygrometer
- Decent Humidification Element
- Under $100
- Good seal / good affordable Humi

Anyone have any suggestions?

Not a fan of glass, or exterior doors (end table), found it too problematic stabilizing the Rh and temperature due to drastic temperature swings during summer and winter in my area. As for the cabinet, pends on how much intend to spend, and IMHO, much has to do with humidification system.

Given the criteria you have, this is my favorite. I always recommend upgrading to crystal gel humidifiers as well. They work better and are easier to refill.

I just picked this one up from barginhumidors.com

http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/Pr...ctid=HUM-100PR

It was at my house in three days. I'm in the process of filling it up, 100 count. It looks really good, great seal.

I agree with Greg. Depending on your "committment" to our hobby, I would suggest you consider going bigger. I got into cigar smoking somewhat gradually and thus gradually bought several humidors. Oui, if I only know then what I know now...I have a 50 count, a 250 count, and a 300 count humi! My next (& hopefully final) step is to buy a cabinet humidore from a humidore company or buy an ornate china cabinet and turni it into a humidore, ie line it with Spanish Cedar and "weather strip" the gaps in the doors and drawers. If I outgrow that, I'll be broke and divorced so it won't matter anyway! I don't have nearly as many stogies as a lot of the guys here but damn that devil site (C-bid)!!!

I had this

http://www.cheaphumidors.com/Merchan...oduct_Count=18

Then i learned it was too small I did really like it, but it would have been very hard to get 100 cigars in there. It was more on the 75 ct side not 100. I was able to find a Vino on craigslist for under $100 so you could always look for that too if you have the room.

Coolers are definitely cheaper! I like the look of a humidore in my living room or den a bit more than an Igloo though.

Guys, thanks for the suggestions, but I already have a vino. I'm really just looking for a 100ct for the desk.
