Poll: CA 2009 edition pipe
Ok, here are the poll choices, if you choose other, please specify in writing in the thread
I picked 3 basic-ish choices for shapes, should be doable, but of course the final say will be whoever ends up wanting to make it for us, and what they're the most comfortable with. the poll should allow you to pick your preferred combination we will likely have both a smooth and rusticated available, but I want to get a feel for how many want which so vote vote vote, let your voice be heard note: I'm great with a poker or apple, but I'm voting Lovat as I don't have one of those |

Re: Poll: CA 2009 edition pipe
That's tough. I picked
Smooth Other: Dublin I like a partial rustication too, but I enjoy free hands, than again, the apple is a great shape; though I cannot forget about the bulldog. Too many out there... |

Re: Poll: CA 2009 edition pipe
i don't think ppl are voting for all the choices.
looks like you have 3 choices: shape, bend, finish. 6 voted for shape, only 3 voted for both bend and finish.

Oops! I didn't know it was multiple choice. My corrected vote would be for a Poker smooth finish Straight. |

Re: Poll: CA 2009 edition pipe
I voted Poker/straight/rusticated, but Iīm fine with anything else (just donīt like full-bents very much). 1/4 bent poker; lovat, 1/4 apple; canadian; almost anything else would still make me happy.
I donīt really care about rusticated vs. smooth, although the main problem we'll face, I guess, will be to meet the $130 budget, at least with carvers like Senatorov and Zeman. Rusticated pipes could be easier to get by that price. |

Re: Poll: CA 2009 edition pipe
I voted other shape. I say a volcano shape, 1/4 bent and smooth finish. It would be a very sexy pipe.

Re: Poll: CA 2009 edition pipe
Just in case it comes to this, a lovat can't be a quarter bent. It is one of the few shapes that can't vary by bend, it must be a straight like a Canadian or Lumberman.

Re: Poll: CA 2009 edition pipe
I voted poker, 1/4 bend, rusticated. I need a rusticated to add to the collection.
A volcano would be sweet, but a little spendier methinks. A long rusticated Canadian would also be cool. I like rusticated Canadians (the more muscular the better....j/k). |
