Default Any homebrewers need a stir plate for yeast....

For propagating yeast....

My parent's wanted me to build them a stir plate using my awesome ( ) soldering skills as an engineering major....

They're not the most complex devices... I assure you, (most people could build these themselves) but if anyone would like one, would help as buying parts in bulk is easier.

Would be made from an ABS electronics project enclosure of dimensions 8x6x3. Would include a teflon coated stir rod. Would not include a flask but could handle one up to 2000mL. Speed of the stirring would be controlled by a knob. Power on/off switch with LED light.

I could do them for about 50$ (+/-) which would throw a few bucks in my pocket for assembly. Think of it as helping pay for our wedding

If anyone is interested, let me know. If no one is interested, no big deal. Just thought I'd offer.

Figured this was more appropriate than either the WTS or the group buy stuff as it directly deals with Brews and what not.

Thanks!
